A post-doctoral position is available in the InterNeg Research Centre at the Concordia University in Montreal, Canada (http://interneg.concordia.ca/).
Research topics now underway include: development of protocols and tools for the Invite platform, laboratory and internet experiments with the Invite negotiation platform; experimental studies of multi-bilateral negotiation and English auction with imposed preferences on the participants; and examination of negotiatorís bargaining styles and their impacts on the e-negotiation process and outcomes. The applicant should have particular strengths in software engineering and information systems, as to participate in the ongoing design of an e-negotiation software platform (Java, ColdFusion, PhP and Mysql) and the experimental work which involves this platform. Knowledge of management science and/or statistics is desirable. Also the applicant should have received the Ph.D. within the last two to three years.
The applicant is expected to coordinate work of a small development team, collaborate with graduate students and members of the Centre in research projects.
